  • Similar in action to salivary amylase.

  • Requires alkaline medium
Cholesterolesterase
  • Releases cholesterol from its bonds with other molecules
Ribonuclease and Deoxyribonuclease
  • Thes enzymes cleave RNA and DNA (respectively) into shorter chains
